I Forum “Cultural Front. The Art of Victory”. How was it?
652 participants, including 93 offline participants from 9 countries (Ukraine, USA, Italy, Belgium, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Malta), 7 discussion panels, 45 speakers.
When and where: On December 8 and 9, 2023, at 2 iconic locations: Potocki Palace in Lviv and Zolochiv Castle.
Organiser and partners: The Beneficial Foundation “Pidhoretskyy Zamok”; Borys Voznytskyi National Museum; Charitable Organization “Polish-Ukrainian Partnership Charitable Foundation”; Polish Brotherhood of Gutenberg Cavaliers with the support of the Press, Education and Culture Section of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine.
The project received wide media coverage: TELEMARATHON (We Are Ukraine), UKRINFORM, Oboz.ua, ArmyINFORM, Zaxid.Net, Galinfo, Kurier Galicyjski, UPMP, and many others.
ABOUT THE “CULTURAL FRONT” PROJECT
- The goal is to preserve, restore and promote the historical and cultural heritage of Ukraine
- Implemented by the Beneficial Foundation «Pidhoretskyy Zamok» within the framework of the Cultural Front project, with the support of the Press, Education and Culture Section of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine
The CULTURAL FRONT project is a platform for professionals of the museum and archival communities, of which the annual Forum “Cultural Front. The Art of Victory” is a part of it:
- Unites the professional museum and archival community and experts from related fields, experts, architects, historians, media, representatives of state authorities and local self-government
- Supports professional development of specialists
- Creates broad national and international opportunities for communication
- Provides an opportunity to join the implementation of reforms in the cultural sphere; participate in the development of programs to engage veterans in the cultural sphere and create inclusive, barrier-free spaces, and develop educational programs for students
- Counteract propaganda and disinformation
- Promotes commercialization in the museum and archival sectors in the context of raising funds for development
